All children must have access to basic resources to lead a happy and healthy life. Street children, one of the most vulnerable groups in India, are deprived of such facilities and respectable living conditions. Salaam Baalak Trust Delhi has been working for many years to uplift street and working children by providing them with regular nutritious meals, healthcare facilities, and a safe shelter. Founded in 1988, Salaam Baalak Trust Delhi supports children living in the streets and other distress situations. We support over 100,000 children across 7 shelter programmes and 10 day care centers.
Salaam Baalak Trust Delhi provides full care and protection to street children through health and nutrition, mental health, quality education & vocational training, and performing arts such as photography, theatre, dance and puppetry etc.
With immense love and care, the children are given a safe and nurturing environment to blossom and lead happy lives ahead.
